1 year stats

She had her 1 year doctor appointment today - at 1 year, 2 weeks and 2 days.

birth: weight - 7 pounds 1 ounce, height - 19 1/2 inches
2 month appointment: weight - 11 pounds, height - 22 inches
4 month appointment: weight - 13 pounds 5 ounces, height - 25 inches
6 month appointment: weight - 15 pounds 6 ounces, height - 26 1/4 inches
9 month appointment: weight - 17 1/2 pounds, height - 27 1/2 inches
12 month appointment: weight - 19 pounds, height - 30 inches

Poor baby got 3 big shots in her chubby legs, and her finger pricked for a blood test. I think they milked about a gallon of blood out of that tiny little finger! :(

Happy (belated) Birthday Addie!

Ok, so it was a few days ago...

Wow, she's a year old already! I can't believe how fast time has gone.

Some recent milestones:
She now has 4 teeth. The top two came in without much issue, about a week apart. But her nickname is now "David Letterman" based on the space between them. Hopefully that will close up as more come in. Otherwise we will start saving for braces!

She is walking very well. Except when she's tired - then she reminds us of a drunken sailor :)

She has three words that she says quite regularly - mama, dada and doga. Unfortunately she's not very descriminating as to when she says them. We each respond to all!

She knows 2 signs - milk and "all done". Also unfortunate that she's not very discriminating as to when she uses the "all done". While we think of it in relation to food, she's known to use it when on the changing table and sitting in the exersaucer as well.

How she spent her birthday:
Sick. She has a stomach bug that just won't go away. So, we had to postpone her party for a week.
