6 month appointment

Ok, she's closer to 7 months, but we are a little off on the scheduling!

Only two shots today, so that was a big improvement over 4!

birth: weight - 7 pounds 1 ounce, height - 19.5 inches
2 month appointment: weight - 11 pounds, height - 22 inches
4 month appointment: weight - 13 pounds 5 ounces, height - 25 inches
6 month appointment: weight - 15 pounds 6 ounces, height - 26 1/4 inches

We took Addie to have her 6 month pictures taken this past weekend. Here are a few of my favorites!

6 months already?

Wow, I can't believe Addie is 6 months old already. Seems like just yesterday Ross and I were walking the halls of Fairview Southdale trying to get those contractions to do something.

Finally, an update!

Sorry for the long dry spell on postings. Our computer at home died, and along with it some pictures... A lot to tell!



Addie is now eating a lot of different foods: rice and oatmeal cereal, prunes, pears, peas, green beans, squash and sweet potatoes. Here's a picture from the first time she tried prunes :)
She has also taken her first plane ride! We went to LA in late July to visit some of Ross' family. She was a champ! Here are a couple pictures from the trip:

This is as close as she got to Minnie Mouse, maybe in a few years she'll get to see the real thing:


She has now started showing great interest in her puppy friends. They aren't quite sure what to think of her yet - especially the grabbing!

She's also had her first trip to Urgent Care (pink eye!) and to the doc for a cold/cough - which turned out to be an ear infection. So we were even more thankful that she was good on the flights to and from LA - could have been bad!
